I fyou have a chance to talk to Gordon Levy , he can probably give you some insight into how to make a High HP T5 survive.
It seems to have much to do with how the gears are designed to mesh without putting undue stress on the case.
I believe Gordon uses Astro Performance gears along with some of his own design/manufacture to build his "Super Duty" T5 transmission.
