The other option is to find out what manufacture the body is. Then find out if they ever sold a frame as a weld it yourself kit. You might be able to buy another frame from them and talk them into an MSO. You will never know if you do not try.
Oh yea, find all of this out BEFORE you buy it.
If you find out that it was a home made chassis or if you cant get an MSO, you may want to post the same information on the scratch builders forum. They need to register theirs somehow. They might have the in's and out's on the registration for you.
