Allow me to guess you're outta luck

The lowest intake for a 385 series is the Edelbrock Torker II which is set up for a regular base Holley. Look on Edelbrock's site and you can see relative manifold heights: http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...ord/ford.shtml

The Torker II is 3.5" and 4.25" where their Dominator manifold is 6.3" and 6.3"

The Torker would give around 2" more clearance based on these measurements. If you find a Dominator manifold that is 2" lower (or more) please let the rest of us know!
