I am a G-Force/Astro dealer.

Either one makes a good product, but Astro's gears are a little tougher. Their 3rd gears are wider and this seems to be the weak link in the G-Force boxes.

The Astro A-5 is rated for 650hp/550lb-ft of torque. The gear set is changed to a higher alloy, straighter cut (but not spur gears) gearset. The mainshaft is also upgraded, and a cluster shaft support is added.

Compared to a TKO (I sell those too), the T5 is about 25 lbs lighter, plus you can shift them a little quicker and at a little higher rpm.
