Would attach photo but mine is from same source, looks the same, and works just fine. Virtually any manual valve with the right size hose ends, usually 5/8", will work and can be had from your local auto supply store too.

The valve you don't want to use is a vacuum valve. It's either on, or off, and car is then too hot, or too cold.
