How about a billet oval 15" air cleaner
with built-in 1" drop down base (for more hood clearance). Or just provide the base and the purchaser uses their existing top. I'm surprised the Kirkham Whittle Works hasn't
experimented with these yet? I ended up machining the air horn off mine and that gave me enough room (for now). Someday when I ever upgrade to a different intake (i.e. Air Gap), I will need the extra room or I'll have to eliminate my 1" carb spacer.
Anyway, something to think about. Maybe not "in demand", but sometimes availability creates its own demand.
