Good one, Warren! - I thought I smelled a rat, though, considering your unwavering support for the John Mc Ain't / Sarah Failin' ticket during the pre-election lounge festivities.
I'm sure this was posted mostly for the irony/laugh factor, and it was brilliant in that regard; but I disagree with the fundamental message and since I can never resist a stimulating argum... er .... discussion:
***WARNING*** do not read any further if you are offended by "commentary"!
It was a combination of inept detective work/forensics, an incompetent prosecution team and a brilliant defensive team that kept OJ out of the big house in the murder trial, not his ancestry, even though the race card was played as part of the strategy to discredit Furman by bringing up his *ahem*
colorful history of derogatory racial slurs.
I'm sure so-called "reverse racism" (IMO all racism is racism) may have saved one or two black men here and there from a deserved stay in the big house, but far,far more innocent ones have been sent to jail, the noose and the chair as a result of the "regular" kind.
PS: To avoid a jump to certain inevitable conclusions, I guess I have to state for the record that I'm just as happy as anyone else to see that punk OJ get what he deserves.
