Thanks for the kind comments about the panoramas. I've been doing 'em for a couple years now and it's getting easier. Panos can be done with almost any digital camera but you have to have a special tripod with calibrated rotation points, and almost any lens will work but you have to calibrate it. Software does the rest, and there are photographic and computer tricks and techniques one can use to make things better.

I'll bring along the 'ol camera and tripod for more gatherings to add to the recording of the event. It's really kind of fun and if anyone wants to get into it let me know and I'll be happy to show you what I know -- the more the merrier!
