I'm hoping that someone can give me the lowdown on IDFs vs IDA Webers. I need to make a decision with respect to running carbs at all, and, if so which set.

I've actually got a set of IDFs that are mounted on a Forb SB manifold that I've had for quite sometime. But, lots of folks have indicated that I may not want to use these for drivability reasons etc.

Now I'm confused as I've heard that IDFs are tunable and offer some drivability advantages over IDAs.

Motor is a 342 stroker, 10.5-11:1, AFR heads, X cam. Car weight will be around 2200-2300lbs, motor probably will not see more than 6500 RPM. 90% Street, 10% light track duty for fun.
