I bought my Cobra used from a guy in Idaho four years ago. Had some trouble registering it here in Nevada but did get it done. Because it had a 1965 427 FE engine I did get it registered smog exempt. However, each year the registration came, it stated I needed a smog check. So each each I have been going done to the Sahara DMV, talking to them and getting the smog exemption and re-registering the vehicle.

This last time (November 2008) I re-registered under the Replica Law and now I will not have to deal with going down there any more. I am registered under #68 of the 100 they will issue. The law staes that there are 100 per year, but DMV is interpeting this as 100 total!
