I'll bet that's not the problem. If it was, every time it rained the potential to energize the fans exists. ("IF" you drive your car in the rain that is) Sounding more like a bad temp switch now...Keep an eye on it and keep us posted. BTW: That radiator fan switch is available in a earlier temperature activation version...Should be available at any larger chain parts store (I have part #'s at home) And.....is a "GIANT PITA" to change out (the first time). The part number is also available on my MKIII Wiring Diagrams if someone has one handy for "madmaxx"...I'm at work and don't have one here - silly me.
