When I looked the last time yesterday the stock market was going back down and was just over 8,000. I didn't look this morning to see where it finished. There are more and more stores and businesses around here closing every week. I believe the unemployment in Shasta County is now around the 14% level if I understood the news woman correctly. Crime is way up and we only have two stores left now that handle much clothing and I am not sure if any of the furniture stores are still in business.
