Go down to any trailer place or a Uhaul dealer and for a few bucks they will wire in a TeKonsha Voyager trailer brake controller. Once it is set, forget it. Plug in your trailer harness and away you go.
Yes, some of the newer vehicles come with the trailer harness under the dash and out to the rear bumper, but the controller still has to be connected to the harness and the trailer connector at the rear bumper will probably need to be installed and connected to the vehicle wiring.
