If you're not used to polishing, you can very easily burn the paint. This polisher from "Porter Cable" is a very nice quality tool. And since it's a random orbital, seldom does leaves swirl marks. Let the polish and the weight of the tool do the work, not your muscles. Buy several pads and keep them clean. While I'm polishing my cobra, I use 3-4.

Put the power cable over your shoulder, while you're using it otherwise, it can get caught up in the machine & ruin the cord, and can even be dangerous.
