That is exactly why I am asking for my 408 stroker build and the TKO I am putting behind it. I want to make things as simple as possible and do away with the hydraulic clutch coompletely. Therefore, I am planning to use a clutch cable with a quadrant kit and firewall adjuster. I have always used a long style clutch (except in my Mustang GT). I was planning to use a Hays clutch like this one:
