That's plenty. FWIW, the 1970 Ford shop manual (Boss/429/428cj/scj/429cj/scj) states that the correct psi is 25-60 lbs @2000rpm HOT. FURTHER, it lists the minimum psi as 6lbs at 400 rpm! BTW, my FE runs high-teens at idle when blistering hot.
