Most of the distributor issues I see are manufactured defects that take a while to show up. I have also seen MSD stuff cave in.

Mallory has a few neat mag breaker designs that work with the MSD boxes well and allow a .044+ plug gap and better power and fuels use.

how is your 302 setup>?
