Earlier this afternoon, I began the process of removing my intake manifold to repair a water leak. After I got all the wires, sensors, etc. off I found the manifold to be impossible to remove. I tried all the tips offered in various posts on this site, but it wouldn't budge.

In desperation, I called cc.com member, Panavia (aka Steve) for help. He came right over with a handful of tools and had the manifold off in minutes.

Then, even though it was late afternoon on Valentine's Day, he stayed and removed all the old gasket material, cleaned all the surfaces, laid in the new gaskets, aligned the manifold and bolted it down.

I hope the rest of you are lucky enough to have a Panavia in your clubs.

Thanks, Steve!
