My speedometer cable which was leaking at the crimp and repaired with my wife's glue gun worked perfect for 6 months, not one drip, yesterday it failed and left a nice puddle. So if you have this leak, disconnect cable from transmission, let the cable drain overnight, clean metal crimp and cable area and apply black rtv silicone sealant to the metal crimp and cable. Let dry before installing and you will be good to go. The gear lube dissolved the hot glue gun glue.

My leaking slave cylinder reservoir was repaired with seal-all and appears to be holding up well.
