I bought the car second hand and from a guy who had very little in the way of engine build documentation. To compound the issue I called the builder and he could only confirm that the 347 stroker had
oil rings that did not intrude into the wrist pin area (a problem on earlier 347s). The good news is I put about 1300 miles on the engine and it does not leak or burn a drop of
oil and makes good power. Overall, I like the car and engine, I just do not want to replace everything that originally came with the car in 2004. It is real difficult to upgrade when you do not know what you have. Not sure what heads are on it, wonder if there is a common area where they may have a number or other identifying marks?
