I agree with Eljaro. I have 48IDA's on a Side-Oiler. Backing the idle mixture screws out little-by-little corrected the popping I was getting from the pipes when lifting off the throttle at crusing speed or after accelerating quickly. I didn't have to change the idle jets but that would have been my next step if the idle screw adjustment didn't do it.
