I saw a B2 like that in San Diego. Pretty sweet RC setup. This layout is the most build I have ever done in creating a model, but it is fun. My next steps that I want to do require saving a little money up to purchase electronic components, but I will be automating the crossings. As the train approaches the crossing, it will activate the crossing lights and bells. When it is past, it will stop. I am purchasing some of the electronics, but I am building the control panels and the junction panels with the latch circuits (I am using 1 sound board for the bells on all 3 intersections, with a digital latch to isolate out the 4 different start signals). That part of the circuit will be all mine. I am also wiring in sound for other parts of the layout as well (farm sounds, train yard sounds, etc...). My intention is to modify the sound boards and have the power and volume controls remotely mounted in my drawer next to the other controls.
