thanks for your replies. I've just had another look at the thread re, Aussie Mikes conversion and it may be an option as I have an engineering background.

Leeroy, the quickshift or shorter stick movement sounds good as I have a ****ie L/shoulder and had originally ordered a 6sp tiptronic but after reading Baz,s posts and talking to Neil Streeting I bailed out and took the manual box instead (chicken).

Boxhead, keep me posted on your reverse lockout mods if you don't mind.
