I don't see 50rpm being any difference whatsoever between gears. A few psi tire pressure would probably make that much difference.

Something must be up with the calculator.

You're saying that you're currently at 3000rpm at 60mph with the 3.73's, but the 3.55's are only 100 rpm different.....while the 3.27/3.31 gears are 50rpm apart?
