Thanks for the answer. I was just wanting to be sure that what I read into the bill wasn't incorrect. And with the Amnesty being mentioned in it, that was one thing that made me wonder if it was just for the time of the amnesty or if there would basically be no SB-100 limit from now on if the bill passes. That would be great news and would certainly get more people to comply.

Since they will no longer use the engine year shouldn't this line of the code be amended to say the owner shall chose the model year of the body only?

The owner shall have the option to choose whether the inspection is based on the engine model-year used in the vehicle or the vehicle model-year.
