We fit Sumitomo tyres to some of our cars.
We use Sumitomo HTR Z III where available.
And the older Sumitomo HTR Z where we need the larger sizing.
If you want go with wide looking rubber you could fit:
Sumitomo HTR Z III 245/45ZR18 to 17 x 8"
Sumitomo HTR Z 315/35ZR18 to 17 x 10"

Paul, we fit the Pilot Sports to our SL-C kits. 295/35ZR18 & 345/30ZR18. What are you worried about wear for, it's all about grip isn't it. And that LS7 certainly won't help your rear tyre life.
