Hi Mando,

Thanks for the nice comments. I do use screens. Here's a picture of them:



The sensor on the driveshaft is related to the electronic traction control system on the car. You can see the sensor in the following picture - it is the silver collar and associated sensor between the back of the driveshaft and the differential.



Here's a closeup picture before the driveshaft was installed:



The silver collar is a custom made piece that contains 2 equally spaced magnets at its edge. As the driveshaft rotates, these magnets fly by the sensor (the part with the wire comming out of it) and create a signal that the EFI computer can read as driveshaft RPM. This data is used by the computer to record speed and miles per gallon in the on-board data logger memory. The computer can also sense any sudden jumps in drieshaft RPM and will interpret these as the rear wheels slipping/tires spinning. When the computer detects this, it automatically removes ignition timing from the motor which reduces torque output and controls the tire spin. I have not yet had a chance to full set up this part of the system up but I plan to do so in spring. If it works well, it should help solve some of the tire spin/control issues that cobras with large, high torque engines are prone too.
