The engine builder expected to achieve about 435 HP because I wanted a dual plane intake for better low end response. He thought that we could get about 30 more HP with a single plane intake but even he was surprised when we got 472 HP. The intake and exhaust runners were cleaned up but the heads were not ported. However some work was done in the combustion chambers mainly to test the results on the flow bench before working on some race heads for a dirt modified car. This guy really knows how to squeeze the power out of SBF's and SBC's.
