I agree with the one piece push rod suggestion and having someone help you measure. Manley makes good push rods and they seem to be OK on the money -

ARP studs may not be a bad idea either , it may just be a bad stud. -- remember of your pushrods if too long or too short can also accelerate valve guide wear.
