I would normally agree with you but here is where I think this is different:
1) The Supreme Court has given their blessing to these moves by the EPA.
2) Things are going to be implemented "through legislation or regulation"
3) The EPA is an activist agency and is made up of people who aren't elected.
I'll give you an example of who is really running the show... here in Central Florida the EPA is pushing to require people living in the Wekiva River Basin to install Performance Based Treatment Systems to control nitorgen (septic). These things cost $15,000 and the EPA is going to require current homeowners to install them. The State and US Representatives oppose it but it is going to happen anyway. Thank goodness I don't have to deal with that.
Never underestimate the intentions of hippies with power. Apparently they view people living along the river as a pest upon the Earth.
