on a 427 with remote
oil filter and cooler, the flow goes from the lower hole on the adaptor plate of the block to the lower hole on the
oil filter housing. Upper line goes to the cooler on the r/s and the l/s hooks back up to the block adaptor. You can test this by pulling the distributor and cranking it to get
oil pressure. You can check for leaks also at this time. If you have no pressure after 10-15 second with manual turning of the pump drive, you have the oil filter housing lines reversed. Good size lines.
Rick L. Ps for line running, use clamps every 12-16" and have easy bends in the lines. The less 90 degree fittings the better. Get High Flow fittings also.
