Default Modular motor in a SPF?

I understand that the simple answer is "Yes" for SPFs constructed from late 2007 onwards, but I'm sure that there will be others on the forum who could confirm this...

When I purchased my SPF from the Australian SPF agent (Cobra Technology Centre based in Victoria, Australia), the car that they had as a "demo" was a dark green SPF with a 5.4 modular Ford V8. The guys at CTC explained at the time that they had done a lot of development work in conjunction with SPF in South Africa to ensure that the SPF could accept the modular motors. Australia's very strict emission and licensing laws were the driver for CTC to do this development work because utilising the vast array of Ford crate motor options that are available to our US brothers is simply not an option to us Aussies when registering a newly constructed vehicle!

I understand that the minor mods that had top be made were adopted by the factory and are now incorporated in every SPF produced by the South African factory...

Regards.....Paul
