Barry & Keith are safe choices, and there are other FE builders that you can read about on this forum, some good, some not-so-good. Since you are building a street Cobra, tell them that you want an engine that will go a good 50,000+ miles, that has specs that they have built before, and that provides high 400's in horsepower
with the sidepipes or mufflers attached. That is an easy build for them and they will be able to give you a very accurate cost estimate. Of course, you will have to make the final call on solid v. hydraulic cam, aluminum flywheel, etc. -- but that's the fun part.
