I guess I need a better definition of compatibility. I take it to mean they will not adversely affect one another, not that they combine to form one together. Hopefully a lubeoligist will chime in. I have always wanted to do what you are doing but was always informed not too. Our local Mobil Rep suggest against it for the reason I gave earlier, you will have two different compatible oils instead of one homogeneous oil.

I am referring to generic over the counter oils availabe at autozone, i have no idea about brad penn oils.
