The ones that Dennis at DSC sells are the correct oem type with the coolant passage cut outs like the OEM Ford C8AZ-9441-C gaskets. I have 2 sets of Ford oem and Mr Gasket (sorry not for sale) and can send you some comparison pics. The oem's with the coolant slits don't wick coolant anywhere that I notice but do have crush rings around each port and coolant passage. So I'm not really sure of their purpose and to me they look like a weak link if the gasket blew around the coolant passage. The material is not the same between the Ford and Mr Gasket 205 sets.
