I did the same as Patrickt suggests. The oil cooler and lines don't hold that much and unless you have a suspicion that there is some metal in the oil, I wouldn't bother with it. Besides I liked leaving that little bit in there as it was just enough to give the new oil some color and make it easier to see on the dipstick.
