My daughter was a reporter/anchor for WFTS TV in Tampa/St. Petersburg for 3 1/2 yrs. Easy to get to and beautiful, we visited every 6 months or so.

The gulf beaches are spectacular and very calm. The sunsets are amazing and TPA is amazingly easy to use. Bucs and the Rays are right next to the airport. Lots of great communities just to the north of the main city....and affordable.
