Yes, they are bolted to the floor with 5 anchor bolts per post and the anchors are at floor level. This makes for a very strong system, just like automotive shop use. The lift is rated to 6,000 lbs. I use mine for my Cobra, our Dakota truck and a 300 M. I have the posts 120" from the back mounting plate to plate. It works out great.
