I read the same article....what wasn't really emphasized was that all the holes for the rivets to hold the panels on had already been drilled, eliminating an incredibly time-consuming part of the build process. So, yeah, the car did go together in a day, but lots of work was done in advance so that those 5 individuals could put it together so quickly.

Those Herculean effors never include interior or body and paint time, either, just putting the kit together into a runner.
