Joe,

I know that a couple of mine says don't use pressurized water to clean under them. I believe it has something to do with the seal that the shaft which turns the blade goes through. If it leaks a little water, that goes right into your engine and starts rusting I guess. Not sure, but I just turn those on their side and scrape off any stuck grass or weeds.
