MSD make a module to run just the factory individual coil ignition setup. Perfect for guys wanting to run a carb on a 4 barrel manifold.

I'm tinkering with an MSD Pro-Mag 12LT at the moment. I'm building a drive to run it straight off the front of the cam on an LSX motor much like a pump drive for a methanol injection setup.

Dead simple and eliminates the need for individual coils, charging system, crank trigger or cam angle sensor. The MSD magneto has an electronic points box that takes care of the ignition advance etc. The 12 Amp magneto produces bigger fatter sparks than any traditional coil setup which you need for lighting methanol or nitromethane.
