im not a fan of msd stuff
just have not had a perfect run on them
i get lumped with fault finding faulty product even when customer supplied the unit
so these days i tell them if its fukt u pay more
anyway apart from that

for us its easier and prob not to much dearer to run facotry ls1 ecu and redo loom to just run the ignition side of things
and then run a carby
as the ls1 msd module for just running the ls1 coils is aorund 1200 bucks

we have run afew ls1s with std ecu just for igniton as there is much more tuning for the std ecu
we also have done ls1s with twin ecus
one runs factory stuff with big injecotrs
then 2nd ecu runs 2 set fo injectors
all which is lots of fun to play with
we want to look into making something to bolt on any v8 to run the ls1 ecu
its a big job but might be worth it in the end
****laods better than any aftermarket ecu out there
plus we now sell twin tune ls1 ecus

we have ls1 ecus with a small wire which u connect to a switch and ground the wire
this switches from one memory to the other memory in the ecu
so u can run a std tune or a perfoamce tune at a flick of a switch
