Since Mark cashes the checks & keeps a record of the persons that sent one to him, this administration came to the conclusion that the list of paid persons was the same as the membership list. Hence, no one is "membership". The two events that are supported directly by the club treasury are the Holiday Party and the Picnic. The other events are scheduled as members (some of whom may also be directors) step up to be the "sponsor" or "organizer" or "coordinator" or "manager". The event then goes on the calendar on the Yahoo Groups site. Hence no "Director of Events".
Seems not to be working out for some. Well, in the words of our new "Great Leader": Elections have consequences. The field that was competing for these posiitions was absent last year.

Only 81 more days to suffer. Less if someone wants to pay my 2010 dues for me.
