Dave, I have been arguing with
some scrutineers at Track days for years about the size of my catch can (about 1 litre) on my Nissan track car with a 1.8 litre turbo in it. As I read the CAMS manual, if the can is not vented to the air, but back into the inlet, the size is irrelevant, it is only a problem if it can overflow and drop on the track. If it vents to the inlet it just gets burnt. My little car gets thrashed, and the level of
oil in the can increases at a very slow rate, and I only drain it occasionally. Venting to the air is theoretically illegal too, on a road car. Mike, how much "blow by" does a Chev make anyway? Peter.
