Seriously though, Some of you guys that know Vince's old Silver w/blue stripe cobra, how does it compare to some of the others? I mean when I wind it up my ears hurt. I have riden in a pack of Thunder Header equipped Harleys that weren't as loud! Just puttin around town I set off a bunch of car alarms!

To give you an idea, I use to own a HD FatBoy with Vance & Hines Drag exhaust, and it was pretty obnoxious. My Cobra is easily 2-3 times worse at W.O.T. and you might want to 1/2 that noise again for Maurice's car. Both cars one behind the other with throttle-up acceleration can generate some serious db. In general, we can basically blow threw a pack of bikes and never hear them. On a scale of 1-10, and 10 being noisey, his old car was probably about a 5 on the obnoxious scale. Sometimes quiet is nice too, especially after a long drive. You can make yourself go deaf in these things if you are not careful. Earplugs!

A favorite thing to do is to sneak up alongside a pack of so-called noisey HDs and glam choppers on the freeway, and typically with a good downshift its pretty easy to scare the crap out of them too for a taste of the old medicine and bewilderment.
