You want to risk it, go for it, but expect that sooner or later NJ MVS will be knocking on your door, will pull your registration, confiscate your car, and fine you to the tune of 10K. Don't think it can happen to you, I know a certain owner who tried this in Rockaway Township just last winter and almost lost his car if it was not for a large law firm located on RT53 in Denville just before the railroad under pass.
