Finally dropped the oil pan this weekend and found the clip which slides on the oil pump shaft had worked its way downward and allowed the pump shaft to move up out of the pump causing the oil pressure loss. I was able to install a new shaft and clip and with the oil pump primer I was able to get 50 lbs of pressure. Thought all was good. I am not able to remove the pan completely due to the Heidts crossmember so I was not able to inspect the bearings. After reinstalling the distributor fired it up and unforunately only have 10-15 lbs of pressure at idle now. If i rev it up I do get 50 lbs. Short loss of time with 0 pressure killed the bearings. Engine coming back out for new bearings. Thanks again for everyones input.
