This weekend work is killing me.

There are tons of free software that will let you do just that. Some will even host for free if you let them post the ads on the site. (and therefore receive the $$) But it is free none the less.
The domain cost anywhere from $3.00 a year to $19.95, depending on where you set it up. Again some sites will even let you get that for free if you use their hosting and services. It just depends on what you want to do, and how you want to set it up.
Personally, I would buy the domain name at @$20.00 and use the free software and set it up myself. That way if the site did go well you could receive all the ad
$$ you could sell on it. I know some people that are making a very good living doing just that.
