Perhaps the tie rod between the two sides is not disengaging the linked side properly. Do the tracks appear parallel? Do you weigh 600 lbs? 
Do the bolts from below go in easy? You could open up the holes thru the chassis a bit if they are binding when installed...Must be some mis-alignment somewhere.
