Hi Beejay,

I am over on the Northern Beaches. Which RTA engineer did you use for your CR? It may be worth me giving them a call next week. What documents did you provide to the engineer? I believe the CR comes with supporting documentation for the chassis.

Is it a case of them examining the chassis or do they require a torsion and beam test report?

The car i am looking at comes with no docs on the chassis. I work in quality management certification and my qualification is Civil engineering. I have experience with product certification to Australian standards and i assume this is very similar. I imagine the engineers are interested in design of the chassis, materials used, quality and qualification of the welding. Or is it all performance based? I dont want to buy a kit for cheap and then spend so much on engineering that i could have just bought the CR kit who are half hours drive away.

Cheers
